What To Do After an Accident
At John Elway Chevrolet Collision Center we want you to be prepared in case you are ever involved in an accident. Knowing you will be able to gather the correct information, ask the right questions and understand your rights will give you the confidence needed during this traumatic time.
- Stop immediately and check for injuries. If needed call 911 (for emergency assistance).
- Identify yourself to other involved parties.
- It is imperative to get the other parties driver’s license number and insurance information. if the other driver will allow a picture to be taken of both documents, that is best, in order to ensure no information is incorrectly captured.
- It is best not to discuss the accident, claim responsibility or admit fault with anyone except the police and your insurance company.
- Notify the police and fill out the proper forms and/or accident reports.

I-Car Certified Center
Our Auto Collision Technicians and Repair Specialists are trained to the highest standards and are continually tested on their knowledge and method of repair work. Additionally, we are an I-Car Certified Center.
The I-CAR vision is that every person in the collision industry, current and future, has the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete and safe repair.
Formed by the collision industry in 1979, I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, is an international, not-for-profit training organization. All I-CAR activities and resources focus on helping the industry achieve a high level of technical training.
I-CAR develops and delivers technical training programs to professionals in all areas of the collision industry. In addition, I-CAR provides a communication forum for anyone interested in proper collision repair. I-CAR's primary funding is derived from student tuition and services. This assures that I-CAR can remain unbiased in developing programs and services on an industry-wide basis.
I-Car's Mission
I-CAR's mission is that I-CAR will be the leader in research, development and delivery of quality, convenient, cost-effective educational programs for the collision industry.
We will fulfill our mission by:
